Program. Precision Litigation Northwest ("the firm," "we") sends text messages (SMS/MMS) about legal matters the firm is handling. Messages go only to (a) our clients, about their own case; (b) firm attorneys and staff, for internal case and scheduling alerts; and (c) counsel, adjusters, and vendors actively working with us on a matter, for scheduling.
Types of messages. Appointment, deposition, and court-date confirmations and reminders; requests for documents or signatures; case-status updates; and scheduling. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in. Clients consent to receive texts in their written fee agreement with the firm, which includes the mobile number to be used. Firm staff also confirm by phone before texting: "May we text you at this number about your case? Reply STOP any time; message and data rates may apply." We record each consent, with its date and number, in the client's file. We text only numbers with a recorded consent.
Message frequency. Varies with case activity, typically no more than 5 messages per week.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. The firm does not charge for text messages.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation, and then no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe. Opting out of texts does not affect our representation; we will keep in touch by phone, email, or mail.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Confidentiality. Text messaging is not a fully secure channel. We keep texts brief and avoid sensitive detail. Please do not text information you would not want seen by someone with access to your phone; call us instead.
